Overview
On a short vacation of 3 nights, you can either select one place to explore or you can make a combination of two pearls of North East India being Darjeeling and Gangtok. While Darjeeling is called as Queen of Hills for its spectacular natural beauty and splendid views of Mt. Kanchenjunga, Gangtok lists as the first litter free town of India giving you perfect cleanliness while you walk on the local streets enjoying stunning views of the surroundings.
Itinerary
On arrival at Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station, our local tour representative will meet you at the specified area and transfer you to Darjeeling (95 kms, approx. 3 hours drive). Darjeeling is a destination of infinite charms that enchants its visitors. On arrival, check in at hotel and relax. Later after some rest, you can step out and take a walk in the nearby areas to take the feel of the romantic atmosphere. Catch an early sleep as you are required to wake up very early next morning.

Today early morning at 4.00 AM, step out to visit Tiger Hill, the famous spot to witness a beautiful sunrise with amazing colour effects on Mt. Kanchendzonga, world’s third highest peak. Also visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop while returning back to the hotel. Take a fill at morning breakfast at hotel and later proceed to visit the most famous 7 points that Darjeeling offers. It includes the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute & PN Zoological Park (both closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Self Help Refugee Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer views), Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda & Ropeway (operational, ropeway ride charges to be paid directly by the guest).
Later, drive to Gangtok (105 kms, approx 4 hours drive). On arrival, check in at hotel and retire for a relaxed sleep.

Wake up to a beautiful morning and take a fill at morning breakfast. Today we’ll go for a day excursion to Tsomgo Lake (Timing will depend on the issuance of Permit). Situated at a height of 3,780 meters with an average depth of 50 ft, the lake offers serene and breathtaking beauty with sparkling blue water. Just on the lake side, visit the Baba Mandir, temple of Lord Shiva built in memory of sepoy Harbhajan Singh. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place. Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen. Later return back to hotel in Gangtok and retire in your cozy bed for a relaxed sleep.

Today morning, laze up in your cozy bed followed by an extensive breakfast. Later check out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport/ New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your return/onward journey.
